Our approach to working with and Seaway Private Equity’s approach to investing in qualified projects is different from that of VC firms. We are hands-on and research driven to match opportunities, people and financial resources.  

As a SPEC qualified business development firm, we have access to significant resources to facilitate participatory investment with more traditional sources of funding.  Our deep knowledge of and commitment to the revitalization of Northern New York allow us to assist our client partners in navigating the early stages of establishing and launching their enterprise. 
                                                

We typically participate at the board level with the first institutional investor in our portfolio companies, and through our network of resources we assist in filling the gaps that are typical in an entrepreneurial management team and sales organization.  In short, we seek to move companies from early stage funding, to cash flow, to ROI efficiently.
